External exams I'm taking this year:
SAT I
TOEFL
AP English
O-Level Literature
AS Math
A-level Arabic
IGCSE Chemistry
IGCSE Economics
IGCSE Biology
If you have any idea what I'm talking about, feel free to express your opinion.
School this year is a little bit different, and also new. We've got 14 exams every week, 6 being A.M.S's, 6 H.W.A's (both are Multiple- choice exams), and 2 Weeklies (MC and written).
On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have got 10 lessons a day - which is a lot -, and 9 lessons on every other day, except on Sunday.
My school timings:
Monday-Thursday: 7:00 - 4:00
Sunday: 7:00 - 3:00
And they say they're overworking the laborers over here!
Grade 11s is the most influential year in my life; it's even more important than Grade 12s!
For those wondering what the 's' stands for, it's 'science', as in, science section.
It's involves subjects such as Core Chemistry, Core English, Core Physics, Pure Math, Applied Math, and so on...
I'm trying my best to maintain an average over 18.3 (graded out of 20), which is like an A++.
I'd say I'm doing fine for now, but I'm so busy that I barely have time for other things...
I've organized my time though, so now studying only takes about 2-3 hours (only?), 4 being max, and that's when I don't have Weeklies.
I'm taking my AP Lessons with Miss Lucas, and I simply admire her! She's perfectly nice, reads the same books I read, and is a very deep thinker. I've taken her as my role model, along with several others. I'm sure I'll get an A* on my AP exam with her help!
She's also teaching me Literature, and I've taken a great liking to poetry. It's simply stunning how much meaning a simple 2-stanza poem can hold.
Oh, and both these classes are optional. For AP, it's only my friend and I, while both of us and another boy named Adam attend Literature.
'The lesser the better.'
I'm probably majoring in Foreign affairs and policies (I'd really like to), and as for Universities I've narrowed it down to Georgetown University; I'm still looking for other colleges though.
I want to be a novelist, and a spokesperson when I grow up.
So yeah, 'why are you in DA?', you might ask. It's simply because drawing is a h-o-b-b-y. There's a difference between majoring in art and liking art.
It's a 75% chance I'm rejoining the Korean Taekwondo team next month. I'm not bragging or anything, but I won the gold medal in my first Qatar-Taekwondo championship, and got the silver in my next.
I've left it for 2 years now, because of lack of time, but I think I can squeeze it in somewhere in my currently-crammed timetable.
All depends on time.
This is not related to school, but I got a scanner.
My father needs it for work, so yeah, I can scan now
IMPORTANT
Ok...It's not 'that' important, but listen up.
I'm going Paint-Balling on Saturday!!
This Saturday!
And it's my first time too!
My happiness is indescribable!
Yay? Lol
I realize this journal sounds a bit serious.
I apologize if I bored you with all this academic talk.
I just really wanted to write this...

And 14 exams a week...you can count me out x_x
Georgetown University? That's in Washington DC, USA, isn't it?
I'm thinking of going somewhere in Canada, or in Chicago with my family.
And yes, they're already making us think about college!
And paintballing is so much fun! Although getting pelted with the tiny balls is painful at first, it numbs down a bit--but it's really exciting; paintballing is very popular in Greece
I don't find it tiring anymore.
We've got Georgetown over here too; it's exactly the same, the only difference being that they don't teach Law like in the U.S.
I don't think my mother minds me leaving the country to study, but the Universities over here are very good.
We even have Cornell University!
I did have fun
I was running everywhere, sliding behind the obstacles and shooting every person I see xD
It wasn't painful at all ^_^ (I got hit once)
Funny thing was that I got hit over my protective vest; it didn't really hurt at all, but when I got out, a lot of the girls - and even the coach - ran towards me. Turns out I was slightly bleeding xD
The girls made a fuss over nothing
I just kept on calling it a battle-scar all day~

Really? Huh. Of course, Law courses would be different in, well, different countries
My mother doesn't mind me leaving the country to study either; in fact, I think she encourages it. I might want to take up forensic sciences as a career...wouldn't that be exciting?
The weather's gotten worse...
By the way, are we in the same time zone? Or are you an hour ahead of me?
